Aqua Mix Grout Colorants (Re-colour existing grouting)
DESCRIPTION:
Aquamix Grout Colorant is an easy-to-use waterborne epoxy that re-colours, seals and rejuvenates existing grout joints. Also simplifies ongoing grout cleaning.
USES:
Sanded, un-sanded and epoxy grout joints. Effective for interior and exterior applications.
TEST A SMALL AREA:
According to application instructions, with a minimum 1-hour cure time to determine desired results.
EXPECTED WEAR UP TO 15 YEARS:
Will vary depending on hardness and texture of surface, type of area, surface wear, frequency, and type of maintenance products used. Weather conditions, harsh cleaning methods and high-alkaline, acidic or solvent-based cleaners will affect wear.
COVERAGE:
Approximately 5 m2 to 60 m2 237 ml bottle depending on width and porosity of grout joint, size of tile, and method of application.
For example: On a 30 x 30 cm tile with a 3mm joint a 237 ml bottle could cover 30 m2 per 2 coat application
Existing grout must be adequately cleaned and prepared before colorant application. We highly recommend using Aqua Mix Phosphoric substitute Acid Cleaner (shown below)

Aqua Mix Phosphoric Acid Substitute 946ml
Aqua Mix Phosphoric Acid Substitute is a premixed acidic treatment designed to remove grout haze, mineral deposits, rust stains, mortar smears, and efflorescence. Effective for the removal of most hard water stains, lime deposits, and soap scum. Also removes cement grout and mortar residue from tile, concrete, and masonry. Etches concrete. No VOCs, No phosphates.
Aqua Mix No VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) formulas help provide better indoor and outdoor air quality compared to similar traditional products.
Uses:
Acid resistant natural stone (such as granite and slate), ceramic, porcelain, quarry, saltillo, terra cotta, and other acid resistant tile and stone.
