First and foremost you will need a manual tile cutter. For ceramic floor and wall tiles and most porcelain will be much faster and of better finish than any electric tile cutter
The TS-50 PLUS is an ideal tile cutter that will cope with most tiles you will come across on a daily basis. It has become more popular than the smaller TS-40 which used to be the best seller. Tile sizes are increasing all the time and the TS-40 can't cut a standard floor tile 330 mm x 330 mm diagonally. The TS-50 PLUS can cut up to a 400mm x 400mm tile diagonally. The TS-50 PLUS is not so big that it becomes cumbersome which the larger TS-60 and TS-70 can be.

Comes with a fully adjustable lateral stop system for repetitive cuts of exactly the same size. Also supplied with a robust carrying case and 1 x 6 mm wheel and 1 x 10 mm scoring wheels (should last many months under normal use).

If you have never used one of these, you are wasting hundreds of hours a year grouting the old fashioned way. This system has totally revolutionised grout finishing. If you wash the sponge out after use with clean water and store it without getting squashed when wet, it should be good for over 1000 square metres
