First and foremost you will need a manual tile cutter. For ceramic floor and wall tiles and most porcelain will be much faster and of better finish than any electric tile cutter

The TS-50 PLUS is an ideal tile cutter that will cope with most tiles you will come across on a daily basis. It has become more popular than the smaller TS-40 which used to be the best seller. Tile sizes are increasing all the time and the TS-40 can't cut a standard floor tile 330 mm x 330 mm diagonally. The TS-50 PLUS can cut up to a 400mm x 400mm tile diagonally. The TS-50 PLUS is not so big that it becomes cumbersome which the larger TS-60 and TS-70 can be.

If you have never used one of these, you are wasting hundreds of hours a year grouting the old fashioned way. This system has totally revolutionised grout finishing.
